i have a suggestion about pool studio. what if you could actually point and click on the pool equipment panel to turn on a spa to show flow of water and jets. how about a moving pool sweep in the 3d view to show what the pool sweep does. many people i come across have no idea what a pool sweep is and what it does. is there an option of putting the pop up heads in the pools?

In the future we will have jets for the spa but I do not know about turning them on and off.

Well, count me as one, what is a pool sweep and what does it do? I'm guessing it is some kind of debris cleaning system.

The possibility of pop ups is already in place. We have a version for Paramount that does this (available soon) but I'm not sure on availability of this beyond Paramount products at this time.

Pool sweep line is the line that is connected to the equipment, that line is usually in the middle of the pool, the plumbers are the subs that install it. From the Pool Sweep Line you would add your cleaner, such as a Navigator, creepy crawler, or Rayvac and the Pool Sweep line sucks the water to make the pool cleaner work.

Ok, I know what you're talking about then. I have no idea when we could implement such a thing. We currently have no support for any type of animation so that would be something we would have to add in at a later date. I would imagine we would eventually get into such details but again, I have no idea when.

So, If I am a paramount dealer, how would I get this add on? Thru you, or paramount?

Please post, or if you prefer, pm me, thanks...APD

If you are a Paramount dealer and wish to have their pool cleaning system in your copy of Pool Studio then you need to call or email us to tell us who you are, what you're CD Key is and we can flag your CD Key to be Paramount's version. The next time you check for updates it will know to change over so that the next time you start up Pool Studio after that you will Paramount items available.

The last discussion on this seems to be in 2005 when it was noted that this feature would be added soon. Has it been added? I can't find anything to replicate the jets in a spa

We are still working on wall jets, they are on the list, but no exact time frame for their release. I will make sure to give the developers a poke and make sure they are working on them for everyone.
