As a Software Engineer, you have an affinity for solving complex and interesting problems. At Structure Studios Engineers work on a wide variety of projects. The primary responsibilities of this position include developing and implementing 2D and 3D computational geometry in an existing CAD software application. You will be responsible for Implementing complex 2D geometry routines including intersection testing, unioning, and clipping. Creatively handling “sloppy drawing” situations where shared edges of shapes are snapped together if within a certain tolerance. Optimizing existing 2D geometry subsystem for realtime performance in large complex scenes. Constructing 3D geometry from 2D representations, clipping geometry and UV coordinates as necessary. Basically, really complex and interesting challenges.
