What computer do you need to run the software?
Before installing, the software will automatically scan your computer to make sure that it is ready to run the software. This test will provide you with valuable information, letting you know not just whether your computer is ready for Version 3 but also the visual quality your current setup will give you.

Can your computer run the software? Find Your Computer Specs
Video Card (GPU) |
A high-end video card will have the most significant impact on the quality and responsiveness of your 3D design. A dedicated DirectX 12 video card with a minimum benchmark score of 4500 is required to run the software correctly. Note: Integrated cards, such as Intel cards are not supported. |
Video Card Memory (VRAM) |
More memory means more textures and models can be loaded on your graphics card. If you design with lots of trees and imported objects, you will need more video card memory. |
CPU (Processor) |
The CPU determines how fast your 2D drawing responds. A strong CPU will greatly increase the speed of creating 2D designs, changing stages, and loading the software. The speed with which you can render images and videos depends on your CPU. The more cores, the better. |
RAM |
RAM is used for textures and models in your 3D scene. The more RAM you have, the more objects you can load into your 3D scene, the more textures you can use, and the higher the quality those textures can be. If you work with small properties, then 16GB of RAM is okay. The larger your properties, the more RAM your computer will require to run the application. Keep in mind that, if you generally have lots of other software or internet browsers open, your computer will need more RAM in general. |
Hard Drive (HDD or SSD) |
The speed of your hard drive will determine how fast the software and the library load and how fast projects are saved. An NVMe will affect how quickly projects auto save and will greatly reduce waiting time. Get at least an SSD hard drive for fast loading and saving. We highly suggest an M.2 NVMe for great speed while designing, loading, and saving. |
Can I use an Apple Mac?
- Will the software run on macOS?
No, the software cannot be installed on macOS or OS X. We have no plans to add native support. - Will Bootcamp run the software?
Version 2 will work with Bootcamp on the 16" MacBook Pros with Intel Core I7 Processors and AMD Radeon Pro 5300M or, preferably, the 5500M.
MacBook Pros do not have Direct X 12 which is required for Version 3.Installing Bootcamp:Step 1: Follow these instructions to Install BootcampStep 2: Once in Windows, make sure to update your video card driversStep 3: Install our software - Will Parallels/VMWare Fusion run the software?
Parallels 17 is not suggested (our software encounters delays in Parallels 17) and VMWare Fusion will not work. - Will the MacBook Air M1 or M2 run the software?
No, the MacBook Air M1and M2 are not compatible with Bootcamp, so they cannot run the software.
